Microneedling Training

Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure that aims to treat acne scars, large pores, hyperpigmentation as well as lax skin, fine lines, wrinkles, and other signs of ageing by increasing collagen production. You will learn the knowledge and skills for microneedling techniques and how to safely administer treatment plus more.

Upon successful completion of this course, you will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to boost your career or business offering. You will practice under the supervision of a qualified trainer. 

You will complete your theoretical studies at our online learner portal and complete your practical sessions under the supervision of a qualified trainer.

• Rules & Regulations – You will learn about the primary rules and regulations that govern the best practice behaviour, operations, or compliance within the aesthetics industry, in order to carry out safe treatments in a healthy environment and uphold standards, often by organisations or governing bodies.
• Microneedling – You will learn about the key purpose for treatments that support clients to enhance the skin appearance, build up new collagen and skin tissue for smoother, firmer, and a brighter skin tone.
• What depths for different concerns – You will learn about the most common microneedling pens used and the techniques to effectively carry out the treatment.
• Products used – You will learn about the products used to effectively carry out the treatment for different skin conditions.
• Wound healing response – You will learn about the biological phases that restore tissue after injury focused on rebuilding tissue.
• Complications Management – In this module you will learn about the key treatment techniques to avoid complications. You will learn how to quickly identify the key complications and how to support the client to recover.
• Anatomy & Physiology – You will learn about the human body and how treatments are linked to the reasons for treatment, consultations, contraindications, aftercare, equipment techniques and products to safely and effectively carry out an aesthetic treatment.
• Client Consultation – You will learn how to carry out a consultation to look deeper into your clients health history which can help you to provide an appropriate, customised treatment plan, tailored to the health history, contraindications, requirements and expectations in mind. You will complete a practical session under the supervision of a qualified trainer.
• How to administer – You will learn about key products and injection techniques to provide your clients with a safe and effective treatment. You will complete your practical sessions under the supervision of a qualified trainer.
• Clinical protocol – You will learn about the clinical best practice behaviours, operations and compliance within the aesthetics industry that will enable you to carry out safe treatments in a healthy environment aligned to rules and regulations.
• Health & Safety – You will learn about the primary rules and regulations that govern the best practice behaviour, operations, or compliance within the aesthetics industry, in order to carry out safe treatments in a healthy environment and uphold standards, often by organisations or governing bodies.
• First Aid – You will learn basic first aid training that will support your clients to recover in the event of an injury or complication. You will complete your practical sessions under the supervision of a qualified trainer.
• Contraindications – You will learn about the key factors that prevent your client from being able to book treatment. This is a key part of the consultation and you will learn more about how to uphold best practice when carrying out an aesthetics treatments.
• GDPR – You will learn about the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) guidelines for the collection and processing of your clients personal data within the EU and how to ensure your are following best practice when carrying out consultations and treatments.
• Precare & Aftercare – You will learn how to carry out the precare and aftercare of a client consultation so that your clients can avoid complications, get the best results and to help them quickly identify and resolve any complications or side effects that may occur.
